Harness and Section forms - Adding a record editor section

You can add the pxRecordsEditor section to a layout, another section, or a cell in a layout. At run time, the record editor section allows you to add, edit, and delete data type records. You can also configure the section to show a customized view of your data anywhere in your Pega Platform application. For example, the pxRecordsEditor section is included in the pzDisplayDataEditorInner section on the Records tab of the Data Designer by default.

1. In Dev Studio, select the Layout menu, select Section, and drag and drop the section to the layout, region, section, or cell.
2. From the Section list of the Section Include panel, select By name and enter pxRecordsEditor in the autocomplete field next to the list.
3. Click OK.
4. Click the View properties icon for the section to display the Cell Properties panel.
5. Configure the section in the fields provided on the General, Presentation, and Parameters tabs.
6. Click Submit to save your changes.
