Adding a new command for a generated category

You can use the preview console to test whether a Facebook or a WebChat chatbot generates correct categories and associated responses for the entered commands. If a generated category does not have a response command associated with it yet, you can define a new command while working in the Show analysis mode.

  1. Enter a command in the preview console.
  2. Turn on the Show analysis switch to display more details about the responses for the chatbot.
  3. In the Category section, click the Configure icon for a generated category to configure its settings.
  4. Optional: If the generated category does not have a response command associated with it, click Create.
  5. From the Response type list, select a response type such as text.
  6. In the Response command field, enter a response command for the intent.
  7. In the Response text field, enter the response text.
  8. Click Submit.
You can now enter the same command again in the preview console to verify that for the correct response command is displayed for the generated category.
