Use the Import wizard to import rules and data instances from a .zip file, JAR file, or application bundle into your current Pega Platform system. Rules, data, and other Pega Platform instances in the imported file are added to the rules that are already in this system, optionally overwriting some existing rules.
If you are importing an archive that contains schema changes that expose a column for an existing property that already has a value in the BLOB, there are some additional steps you must take before importing. For more information, see Importing a file that exposes a new column.
Access the Import wizard by clicking Designer Studio > Application > Distribution > Import.
