Applying hotfixes from the command line

Use either the prpcUtils tool or the prpcServiceUtils tool to apply hotfixes from the command line.

Your requirements determine which of the following tools to use:

• prpcServiceUtils: Use an active instance of the Pega Platform with a command-line script to manage hotfixes. Service-enabled system management allows asynchronous workflows and faster operations. For more information, see Managing hotfixes (service-enabled)
• prpcUtils: Use the prpcUtils tool to manage hotfixes on a single system even if you do not have an active instance of the Pega Platform. For more information, see Applying hotfixes by using the prpcUtils tool.
