Settings for a case type

The settings for a case type affect the case type throughout its life cycle. They are categorized based on the functionality that they control.

For example, you can use the Goals & deadlines category to define the suggested and required resolution times for your case type. These times are independent from the service-level agreements that you define for a stage or step.

To configure the settings for a case type, click a category name on the Settings tab of Case Designer.
