Configuring a Start shape

Every new flow has a single Start shape, an Assignment shape, and an End shape. The Start shape begins every execution of the flow. Each flow can have only one Start shape.

1. Double-click the Start shape.

2. Complete the Process section to define the Case Creation Setting values on the flow rule's Process tab.

3. Click OK to close the property panel.

4. Hover on the Start shape and drag a connector to an existing shape in the flow.

5. Optional: Click the Preview icon to view the harness that is associated with the Start shape.

   The New harness does not appear at the Start shape during flow executions if the Skip create harness check box (on the Process tab) is selected.
