Scheduling reports in the Case Manager portal

You can schedule reports to run at a time, interval, and frequency that you define.

When you schedule a report, you are subscribed to that report by default. You receive a copy of the report by email each time the report runs.

  1. In the Report Browser, click the gear icon for the report shortcut and select Schedule to open the Schedule Reporting Task form. If Schedule is not an option, you are not authorized to run the report.
  2. On the Schedule Reporting Task form, you can specify the following information:

    Task Definition

    Task Scheduling

    Task Output Processing

  3. Click Submit to save your changes and schedule the report.
  4. After you schedule a report, the task becomes a work item (work type Pega-ScheduledTask) with the prefix PX-ST- and is saved in the pc_schedule_task database table. Processing of scheduled reports occurs in the background by the Pega-RulesEngine agents. You must enable this agent on at least one node of your system.
