Note: This form is deprecated. Use the Connect CMIS form instead. Rules created previously will still work, but you cannot create new ones.

SOAP server data instances provide a means to store connection details for an external SOAP server. Connect-CMIS rules reference this information when connecting to external CMIS instances.

Access

To access SOAP server data objects, select Designer Studio Integration > Resources and select the SOAP Server link to access the SOAP Servers in your system. Or, in the Records Explorer, you can expand the Integration-Services category and click Service SOAP to review or create SOAP Servers.

Where referenced

SOAP server data instances are referenced in Connect-CMIS rules.

Class and category

The Data-Admin-Connect-SoapServer class contains SOAP server data instances. This class is part of the Integration-Resources category.

Associated RuleSet

When you save a SOAP server data instance, if the Associated RuleSet is [none], the system completes this field with a RuleSet from the current application. This association assists with application packaging. You can update the associated RuleSet using the field in the upper right corner of the form. See Identifying parts of rule and data forms.

If there is no RuleSet associated with the data instance (for example, for existing instances not previously associated with a RuleSet), the Associated RuleSet displays [none].
