Generate mashup code

A common requirement for embedding Pega 7 content in another application's web page is case processing. The Generate mashup code option launches a dialog that provides the necessary Pega HTML which may be cut, pasted, and viewed within the external page. The code may be modified to meet specific needs.

  1. Open a case type in Case Designer.

  2. Select Actions > Generate mashup code.

  3. Enter the URL of the external application you want to target for your mashup.

    Tip: For information about installing or deploying the gateway servlet, click the deployed IAC gateway servlet link.

  4. Click Generate code.

  5. Copy and paste the HTML into your external webpage in order to display the embedded Pega case type.

  6. Click Change mashup URL if you wish to change the URL for your Pega mashup.
