deprecated rule

A deprecated rule is a rule that is no longer supported. Where possible, migrate or upgrade these items to an appropriate alternative.

You can deprecate any Rule- instance by setting its status to Deprecated and entering documentation in the Usage field.

You see a warning populated by contents of the Usage field when you open a rule that references a deprecated rule instance. For example, you are warned when you open an activity that calls a deprecated integration rule, or a data transform that sets a deprecated property.

When you save as or specialize a deprecated rule, the status remains Deprecated.

Deprecated rule instances in Pega- rulesets are excluded from:

Data- instances do not support deprecation.
