Access the Settings landing page by selecting the > Reporting > Settings menu item.

The following tabs are available on this landing page:

 

Using the Settings tab

The Settings tab allows you to manage resource limits when running reports or exporting data from them, and to set default behavior for Report Definition charts. The tab has three sections:

 

Resource Limits When Running Reports

This section shows the current settings for two values:

Click the edit icon to open the system settings data instance controlling either of these settings. Each data instance has five rows labeled System Settings Per Production Level. See Production Level.

To change the settings for one or all production levels, save a copy of the instance into a RuleSet and update the fields you want to change. Save the instance. The change affects all operators using access groups that have the RuleSet you saved the instance into as the top RuleSet in their Production RuleSets list.

You may need to log out and log back in for the settings changes to take effect.

note about settingsYou can also adjust these settings for a particular report in the General Data Source Settings section of the Data Access tab of the report's Report Definition.

note about settingsYou can set the default settings for all Report Definitions created within a particular class in the pyDefaultReport (for list reports) and pyDefaultSummaryReport (for summary reports) templates for that class.

 

Resource Limits When Exporting Data From Reports

This section shows the current settings for two values:

Display Options For Report Definition Charts

The controls in this section set default behavior for charts associated with Report Definitions.

Click Submit to save your chart preferences. Close the tab to abandon your edits without saving them.

Using the Maps tab

The Maps tab lets you Defining these associations correctly lets you use a map to illustrate the data in a Report Definition report; otherwise, the data will either not appear or may appear associated with the wrong regions.

When you have entered valid choices in each field, a list appears of regions or areas in the map you selected. For each region, enter an appropriate property value from the class you selected.

Note: Inspect the data source you are using and correctly apply the property values used in the data source to the property value fields of the map regions to which you wish to apply them on this tab.

Click Save to save your map preferences for the selected map and class. Close the tab to abandon your edits without saving them.
