WHAT IS MDF?
Pega provides services partners with Market Development Funds (MDF) and to active partners as governed by the Master Alliance Agreement. Not all partners are eligible for MDF.
Funds are provided to partners for partner-sourced Pega license bookings, defined as registered opportunities which are net-new Pega license opportunities that result in closed Pega license bookings.
WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE ELIGIBLE TO BE FUNDED FROM MDF?
The following types of activity are eligible, subject to Pega approval.
- Demand Generation Initiatives (includes prospective clients)
- Market-to-Partners Programs (internal partner or sales enablement with existing clients)
- Co-Development of Repeatable Assets
- Specialized Skills Development and Enablement
The process for MDF approval is as outlined below. Alliance Marketing approves Demand Generation and certain Market-to-Partners activities.
