Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Validate rule with the condition:
IF @length(.PropetyName)=0 Then Display Message Please Enter Name
  2. Include this rule in the flow action.
  3. Enable Offline in the case.
  4. Run the flow and Click 'Submit' button without entering any data in the 'PropertyName' input field.

Root Cause

A defect in Pegasystems’ code or rules. The Validate rule depends on the Select function rules ported to JavaScript functions which are not available.

The below functions are ported to JavaScript and are usable in Validate rules in Offline mode:
  • pega.functions.PageLibrary.pxPageListLengthCompare
  • pega.functions.WorkUtilitiesLibrary.pxIsAttachmentOfCategoryInCase

Resolution

Apply HFix-38817.
