Question

With the Work object id, can we find out whether that work object is of child case or parent case?. Do we have any DB column for this identification?. Someone please clarify on this.

You can look at the pxCoverInsKey value to see if the work object has a parent and the pxCoveredInsKeys values to see child work objects on the parent.

Hi Basha,

I think you can get the work object based on your work object id then:

  • If its coverinskeys related property has different work object id => parent case related
  • If its coverinskeys related property has same work object id => child case related

Hope this information might be helpful to you.
