What are the pros and cons of storing config data in a Data Page as opposed to a Dynamic System Setting?

Hi All, in some applications I have noticed Dynamic System Settings being used to store config data such as URLs etc. I have also seen other applications use Data Pages for this.

Can anybody tell me the pros and cons of using each?

They are different in a way that a dynamic system setting will store a single value as opposed to the data pages which can store a page value or even a page list.

Secondly, while the DSS can store a hard coded value (can be populated dynamically at run time, but it is not advised), the data pages can have multiple sources to produce and populate the page/pagelist.
