Suppressing validate rule for conditions

I have a validate rule for required field validations and the rule mapped to a flow action that gets triggered on "Submit" button click. I have another button to Restart the Stage. So if "Restart" button is clicked and Submit is clicked, the user should be redirected to the first step of the Stage. And this should happen irrespective of whether all the control have value or not. i.e. I want to suppress the Required field validations on Restarting the Stage but they should be active for moving to the next step. Any help on how I can achieve this?

I am wondering the need for clicking submit after clicking restart button.  To redirect to first step of the stage, you can directly do the corresponding action on restart button itself right?

On click of "Restart Stage" button, I'm running this activity "pxRestartStage". This doesn't restart stage until you click submit. Is there any other way to restart stage?

Hello Hema,

Instead of calling the validate rule directly, you can call it conditionally from the post processing activity based on the property flag set.

Other option is you do it through input qualified validation? i.e., make use of options on the Input tab of the Validate rule. Use this tab to specify the inputs that the system uses to determine which validation settings on the Validate tab to apply at run time.

Review them once and see if they meet your requirement.
