Setting Session Timeout

Not sure what category this falls under, but I would like to set the session timeout for my application, and I read in the developer help that this is done in the prConfig.xml file under the timeout/browser and timeout/application elements. But I looked in my prConfig.xml file, and those elements are not there. Shouldn't they be there by default? and if not, can I add them anywhere in the prConfig.xml file? I want it to be set a 1 hour.

I think we have to restart the application when we do modifications to the prconfig.xml file.

Do you know that you could also configure authentication timeout on the accessgroup? This timeout, if utilized, gives you the capability to persist the requestor into the dB when the authentication timeout occurs (so the requestor doesn't lose any work). This timeout should however occur before the requestor timeout which is configured in prconfig.xml

I looked at the access group setting, and the timeout is set for 1800 seconds (30 minutes)

But that element was not in the Prconfig.xml

So I am adding that now. Will I have to restart the application for the prconfig changes to take effect?

<env name="timeout/browser" value="900"/>

paste the above line in the prconfig.xml which means the browser time out is for 15 minutes..Change accordingly...
