pyFlowType: instance is not found

We are using SI framework 4.2 and PRPC 4.2. when we open some (not all) operator worklist, we are getting the error ".pyFlowType: ** ** failed to find an instance". We tried by running the tracer while opening worklist, we found error "instace not found" displaying in java step in activity "EMBEDDED-LISTPARAMS GETBULKPROCESSCONTENT". Waiting for your help. Thanks in advance. Regards, Srinivas

The flow action Work-.Notify (whose label is Create Correspondence) doesn't work in Bulk Processing and in later releases it isn't shown as a choice.

Hi Marik,

Is it meaning that all the process steps invovled in CreateCorrespondence should be completed before doing the bulk transfer. Please correct me, if i am wrong!!!
Is there any work around for this or should i report this as a bug in SI 4.2 SP5? Waiting for your reply. Thanks once again.

Srinivas

Sorry I haven't been on the forums for a while.

I am not familiar with the SI framework so I suggest you contact Pega Support about this issue.

hi,

.pyFlowType is the name of the flow(where work objects created),and the error it is showing is unable to find the instance.

Just check the flow rule is available with that name or not.

If that flow is not existed, how come that work object is created.
BTW the flow name it is showing is "Entercorrdetails". This flow is not there in the class it is showing in the error, but its there in the top level class PegaComBank-Corr- class.

First of all, which service pack of 4.2 are you using? Second, I assume that in the actual worklist display, you don't get this problem; but rather it occurs when you attempt to do a Bulk Transfer. Correct? Now, you wrote:

What class is it showing the error in, and what relationship does that have to PegaComBank-Corr-?

My suspicion is that bulk processing is finding the least common denominator ancestor class, and you have a mix of assignments in your worklist not all of which have a work object deriving from PegaComBank-Corr.

Hi Marik,

Service Pack is:Buildname=Build_0402SP5_0022
Thanks a lot for your reply.
What you said is correct. I am getting this error only when i attempt to do the bulk transfer.

Actually we have customized the MycoSI-work-Pymt- into XXX-WORK-FPS- class. If i create a exception case of type AmendBenificiary, then it is showing that instance not found error in "XXX-WORK-FPS-AmendBen" class.

This error only i am getting when i was intiated the local flow action "CreateCorrespondence" to send the outbound correspondence and stop running through steps in the middle and try to do the bulk transfer.

If i finish this entire coreespondence generation and validation steps and come back to step-by-step process and then i do the bulk transfer, i am not getting this error.

Is this an existing bug in SI?
I walked through the class hierarchy and no where i can found the relation with Pegacommbank-corr- class.

Is this causing because of class inheritnece? if yes, how that flow is running while creating the case?

Waiting for your reply..Thanks again.
