Question

How we can capture the page property of the corresponding property change of the page in the pagelist in Field Level Auditing

Hi All,

we have a requirement to audit the page list.

Especially need to track page property of the corresponding property change in the page list.

Ex:

If the user changed the status value

We need to show as Name Status changed from old value to new value (Sita Status Changed from Absent to present).

please suggest How we capture the page property of the corresponding property change of the page in the pagelist.

Thanks,

Pranavi.

Hi Pranavi,

You can track changes in the audit by adding the page list property in 'pyTrackSecurityChanges' data transform. Also, you can customize the string display in audit tab, by editing ChangeTrack_Change field value and saving to your ruleset. But as per current design, I don't think you will be able to append another property value (i.e., Name) in the audit history.

Apart from the implementation mentioned above, you can also look at having an on change event on the drop down where you can pick details from the Primary page(the active row of the grid where the status change happens)and record the change using a history-add method

Hello Pranavi!

Even in this case you can make use of a similar approach,You can use a property where you write the change that has happened( in your case the text for audit) on change of the drop down and make use of history-add on postactivity of the flowaction.

Hi Midhun,

The user may change more than one row at a time or even change all the rows.

In this case how can we capture.

Please provide the screen shoots or approach document if possible.

Thanks,

Pranavi.
