First service Call before the screen pop

We are using

PBX/Switch: Avaya

Voice Platform: Genesys Voice Platform 8.1

Pega Components: CSHC 7.21 on Pega 7.2

Pega Call Engine:

I tried to trace on "connectionAlerting" but was not able trace any events in the tracer. Can you please let us know which service is triggered before screenpop is displayed.

As per I am aware, for JTAPI, the service-java rule called is 'ConnectionAlerting’. This would be called before generating the Pop-up to UI. And it inovkes an activity 'CallCtlConnAlertingEv’.

     Thanks for the reply, you are right, for jtapi its "ConnectionAlerting", found out for Genesys, its Rule-Service-Java.ringing.


My CTI Engine is local and want to divert all the traffic to one particular PRPC node. If it is possible, how can we do it and Would like to know, from where these services are called from?

Pls try to evaluate ScreenPopControl control. Hopefully you will get some more details. I did use fiddler to find out your answer and saw that this is being triggered through Javascript..
