Control Region not fetching text consistently

I need to use many control regions to extract text `in my automation. The windows application used is VB6 based legacy application. As a result of that my Physical memory is getting stacked up and also sometimes I could not retrieve the text from some of the control Regions . Is there any way to use dispose method on control regions as soon as the text from that specific control region is extracted? How to manage memory when I am using lot of control regions in my automation?

You might be able to kill the adapter when you aren't using it and then spin it up again when you need it?

Allow me to explain you further

I am automating a legacy windows application written in vb6. It has vertical and inturn, horizontal tabs. I am fetching information from almost all horizontal tabs. The automation is for contact center business area so AHT is very critical. There is no time to kill the adapter and restart it again. Given that, kindly advice further

What are the settings in your OpenSpan.ini? If you have it set to AllProcesses, that may be a cause of some of the memory issues. I cannot say I have ever experienced any myself using Control Regions though.
