Columns on grid which shouldn't have scroll bars and should display all the columns

I have a Table, where some of the columns are exceeding the display area, and the requirement is like no scroll bar behaviour should be implemented.

So, incoporated with Fill 100% option on grid. even though some of the columns are exceeding the display area.

Tried approaches.

1) configoured table in dynamic layout -->not worked.

2) wrapp texted all the column properties and column labels-->not worked
Please suggest an approach which can make all the columns fit within the display area of the grid minimum 18 columns.

Hi Arun,

Thanks for posting on PSC.

Have you tried configuring Column Properties's width to adjust all the column width with wrapped text configured and "Scroll-bar" option not in place? Refer below.

Though, as you mentioned there are 18 columns. It's difficult to have all of them on the window screen without scrolling. You can also, configure "Importance" settings as mentioned in above screen-shot as "Secondary" for columns which are of less importance.

Hope it helps you in implementing your use-case, kindly notify if it does.

You can  try below options.

Read only You can keep few  main feilds in  grid and introduce view all button in one column and show rest of feilds in popup or instead of button keep mouse hover on one of the feild .

On editable instead ootb add keep popup on add button add all the feilds to grid. In grid show main feilds and rest show in mouse hover or through popup on click of view all button

Doesn't the Pixels (Fixed) help in your case. Freeze the column pane and column header.Hard code each column width.

If configure with pixels it throws a warning.. as I should implement this in upgrade project so I think its not the best practice and I should improve guardrail score.

I agree that it generates the warning but I don't find any other easy approach since we are trying to fit a huge number of columns. So I think you can justify the warning. Even an inline style using word-wrap or any other tweak would also create a warning.
