Question

Can/Should the Worklist/Work Basket on the dashboard be configurable

The list of cases on the dashboard show step names as the name in the list, for example:

Name Case Category
Create Client C-1591 Client
Create Client C-1584 Client

I would like the client name to be displayed rather than "Create Client". Can this be configured from Express or is Designer Studio required?

Hi Dave,

It Would be helpful if you provide screenshot of the scenario ,which you want to  modify.

If not please look into the attached image and let me know whether you want to customise the Case ID .

Thanks,

Response to komah

See the attached screenshots.

My intent is to use Express to create apps as an alternative to a sharepoint list.  Here is what I am expecting:

1. the worklist on the dashboard defaults to a specific workbasket/queue that shows only Client cases that are not resolved

2. The cases in the list should show the client name to make easily identifiable to the user and perhaps other key client case properties

Note that this is a more data centric approach, which is typical of a sharepoint list.

My questions/concerns are:

1. Am I misusing, Pega or Express in this data centric fashion

2. I see from another reply that Express does not allow this customization of the work list.  Should it? Is the right thing to do?  Would it violate something inherent to Pega. If so, will/should this be allow from Express?  In the meantime, using Designer Studio to customize can be done.

Thanks for your help!

Dave,

As I understand from your post, you would like to have a customised name for the assignment shown in the dashboard. I don't think we can configure that from Express at this point.

Thanks,

Suman

Suman is correct.  In designer studio you could also create a different widget showing the data that you want.
