If it was a timeout from database, it would have timedout from outside pega as well. However this does not timeout from outside Pega. I strongly believe this is JDBC timeout. However need the details on how to resolve this from Pega.

You can print into another temp file with help of java code.. I am not sure about writing it into the pega rules logs.. But you can create another (At server directory) file and write the lines into that using the Java File and PrintWriter classes
