As the override of logs doesn't satisfy your requirement then their is no ootb way to achieve this requirement.

This is fixed by mounting the external network location on server. We can set path to a folder on server which points to external location and we can read files.

Create a class and map that class with the table. If no table is there then, Create database table instance and mention database name and dummy table name(which is not required to be in the DB).
