Yes,You can install pega 7.4 in mac. For this you must have the disc image in ova format.  Install VMware Fusion in your mac and import the ova disc image in the vm. After imported successfully go to system preferences option under top left apple...

pxSecuritySnapshot.pxAvailableApps includes PRPC:users, which is not part of Operator's accessgroup list

Based on an email sent earlier, it appears that only Pega Call is using the Netty Library.
