Question

Web Page Expired

We are using Pega Customer Service 7.4, and some of our users are randomly getting the "web page expired" message on the interaction and they are unable to keep working on the interaction after that.

They are not using the back button and as this is happening randomly we haven't been able to reproduce in lower environments.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how can we prevent this from happening?

Hello,

So you never managed to identify a replication scenario? Is it only in Production then? Anything wrong on your logs?

How about if you run a fiddler trace with a user would it be possible

HI, I did a search for you. A similar case with the same "webpage expired" message had a root cause of "expire headers". So, please double check it and you may need to set HTTP header configuration.

You can use F12 (Developer Tools and Fiddler) to check.

Hi Susan,

Thanks for your suggestion. As I mentioned above the issue is only happening in PROD and it's very random, we haven't seen it again for a while but we still need to understand why it happened to avoid this from happening again.

We will make sure to check http headers if it occurs again. Thanks.
