Unable to Start App Server

Hi,

We are using Pega 8.1.5 and suddenly our application server now unable to start Pega. we didn't make any changes at server level. Here are the attached server and pegarules log. Please advise

Hi,

I have found out the root cause of the issue was invalid DB-Admin-DB-Name instance in the Database. If you see the screenshot, the pzInskey of spsecific DB was wrong and other values were null. Not sure why such entry was added by Pega. After removing the record from DB, the issue was resolved.

Hi AnandP,

I have looked into the exception, It looks like WebSphere’s issue.

Generally if the IBMWebSpherePresenceServerRESTPlugin.jar is not reachable or not loaded into the cache at startup , it throws similar exception. This can be caused by corruption of the cache.

There are few commands to clear the cache and reload it properly. You can check the below ibm post:
