Security violation attempting to access requestor @ PRPC731.

Hi Team,

Lots of "Security violation attempting to access requestor type " exceptions has been observed in our production logs (we use cookie-based persistence in the load balancer configuration) @ PRPC731 version.

I have referred to most of the PEGA PDN issue similar articles but couldnt find anything helpful.

Please let us know the areas to crosscheck and validate (find the attached log regarding the error stack).

Thank you.

Hi Pradeep,

Can this be reproduced in a lower environment?

Have you taken a look at the EXCP0001 alerts in the alert log file to see if they give you any details regarding the user/requestor that was in play here with this exception?

If you can review the http request logs (from app server) at the same time as the exception, you may be able to get the request that came in and see if there is a pattern.

Security violation attempting to access requestor type errors come when system try to authenticate the user on a cookie based authentication (LDAP/SSO) , meanwhile user try to access the system/retry before the initial request complete.

We shouldnot see these errors if the cookie based authentication happens fast, we had the same situation and advised our users not to click twice on the log on button as part of the training.

Other alternative is, accessing the Pega environment from a book marked URL, where they wont have Log on/submit button. But if they click the book mark url more than once, same error will log.
