Report Definition Rules UI is not displaying Completely

Report Definition rules are not displaying complete UI in Designer studio.

We tried clearing cache, restarting the server, truncating the following tables:












Nothing helped so far. Please let me know if there is any other solution.

Which Pega release version you are using?

We are using Pega version 7.4

1. Is it only one particular report definition or the problem is in ALL of the RDs?

2. Did you migrated from older Pega version recently?

1. Its for all report definitions.

try to open Developer console (in Chrome for example), Network tab. Refresh the page with RD (browser's refresh - F5) and look into XHR connections to your server - are any of them in red color?

Hi Shilpa

1. Is the issue only happening for Report Definition rules or other rules as well?

2. Is the issue happening only in DEV environment or other environments as well?

3. Do you know if any change was made after which this issue started happening? (for example, installing a hotfix or any other change to system)

I understand that you wanted to get rid of the problem and so truncated cache tables. But in general, it is not a good idea to willy nilly truncate cache tables, because once you do that, we lose the evidence of what happened that may have triggered the problem and try to address it. We can only attempt to do damage control after that as opposed to understand the root cause of the issue.

In addition to answering questions above, could you clarify 

1. Attach a  screen shot of how the report definition rule looks when you open them

2. DOes it happen for a particular report definition (OR) all ? Including Out of the Box ones ?

3. Your last upgrade was in 2018. What triggered this ? Any Hfix install / OS upgrade ?

4. DOes it happen across browsers ?

5. Any JS errors noticed in the console when you open (You can get to the console by pressingF-12 on the browser window)
