Repeating Dynamic Layouts and Layout Groups

I am using a repeating dynamic layout to show a contact list which is fine on desktop, but on mobile it looks quite weird. My first thought was to put it into a layout group, so it would be separated into tabs on mobile, but it doesn't work as expected. Could someone explain to me, how to use repeating dynamic layouts and layout groups together, or if it's even possible ?

Hi Norbert,

Ideally repeating dynamic layout should show up clearly on a mobile device.

1. Are you checking on a mobile app (OR) loading the end user portal on a mobile browser ?

2. Could you elaborate on what is weird ? Attach screen shots from desktop and mobile and point to what is missing (OR) dislocated.

I'm checking on mobile from Chrome. I will correct my phrasing, it is not weird, but takes up quite big of a place the way we have it now. Where we have 2-3 dynamic layouts, let's say customer information, I put those into layout group, set enable swiping on mobile, using only dots for title and formatting to emulate an indicator you can find on phones, and this way it looks good, and usable.

I would like to do the same with a repeating dynamic layout, which contians contacts, so I don't have to display 5-6 tiles on the mobile, taking up the whole screen.

1. can you try using the desktop browser and using the devleoper tool bar , set the screen size to check if the issue is reproducible.

2. If your tiles are not aligned when viewing on a small screen, you may have to set responsive break points for the layout in your skin ,

See attached screen shot.

Check the layout used inside your Repeating dynamic layout. Check if it  has responsive breakpoint set.
