Question

Purge / Archive speicifc Resolved status obejcts

1) Is it possible to purge/archive Only Resolved-Rejected status not all Resolved status ? 2) Is there any place holder activity to perform on post purge activity ? The customer data is present across multiple systems so we need to make Api call to them to clean up the data .? Does OOTB wizard provides any placeholder for Report definition or activity to define criteria

Hello

Currently there is no OOTB way to provide additional filter like this.

The only alternative is to come up with your own purging  and archiving mechanism.

1. Create your own agent that will run preiodically

2. Configure an activity similar to the OOTB one and put the appropriate filter condition in the activity.

3. Schedule the agent as per business needs.

Before going for customization, we want to explore how Pega does the archiving.

1) Which agent is responsible for the archive.

2) I see the listview (GetArchivableItems) related to the archive but all reference rules are withdrawn..

Create an agent with an activity call.

you can specify the RDB delete where you use the ASIS key word.

Still i don't find how Pega Purge/Archive process works .

I see ,ProcessConfig activity is resposible for Archive but how to access the below function which is reference in ProcessConfig activity ,I would like to see the mechanisam of below function .

 pega.getRuleMgmtUtils().runPurgeArchive(myStepPage,tools);
