Pega V8.2.2 - Alignment issue with rich text editor control in read-only mode

I have created a section with a text input field and OOTB Rich Text Editor field, and in run time i have entered data for both the fieds and submitted.
In Review mode, the data enetered in rich text editor is not aligned properly with other fields.

There is more space between label and the field value for rich text editor.

Hi @ParvinS5 ,

As suggested by SME, please go ahead with creating an SR for the issue. Do let us know the SR number here for tracking purposes.

Thank you! On reviewing the SR I see that it is now resolved with the below explanation

Pega RTE uses CKEditor. This is the expected behavior of CKEditor. It always adds a <p> tag to the DOM while attaching the value.

Hi @ParvinS5

Even though this is expected behaviour, I think you can still write custom CSS to fix the alignment issue. Can you please tell me how you want it to be in the Review Mode.

Screenshots will help!!

Hi Rachit,

Thank you for your thoughts on this.

PFA screenshot with the issue screenshot and the expected UI, it is working fine in 7.1.5, I am facing this issue post upgrade to 8.2.2.

there is no changes to the RTE control, its OOTB RTE control only used. Let me know if any further details are required

It is very much possible that after the upgrade, issue related to the skin can come up because in 8.x version we have added/modified existing CSS in some scenarios and there could also be custom CSS which may have resulted in this.

So, looking at the screenshot, I would suggest adding padding-top/margin-top to the input field. This should surely resolve the misalignment.
