Question

ParseJSON returning invalid response

We have a javascript that sends the following format of JSON into the Pega function ParseJSON:

prop1: "12345"
prop2: "TEST"
prop3: "TEST"
prop4: "(123) 456-7890"
prop 5: "111 MAIN ST , CITY, STATE 12345-6789"
prop6: "FIRST LAST"
pid: "PREFIX-12345"
__proto__: Object

What we get back in Pega 7.2 is: {"isSucess":true}

In Pega 7.4 we get back: eyJpc1N1Y2Nlc3MiOnRydWV9. This invalid response causes problems for us.

Since the upgrade we checked if encoding changed. It is still set to UTF-8 on the JVM.

Can anyone think of why this might be happening to us?

Does anyone have any ideas?  This is a Production issue for us.

Hi,

Do you find any JSON parsing exception in the Logs? Is this issue happening for all of the JSON data in 7.4? Have you tried to run the same JSON in lower environment?
