Question

Issues with BIX in Pega 8.2.2

Hi all,

after upgrading from Pega 7.3.0 to Pega 8.2.2, BIX extraction is no more working.

I am getting on all extraction tables the error:

The column pzinskey does not exist in the table ExtractionTable.

But in fact, the column PZINSKEY exists in the table ExtractionTable. We have an Oracle Database version 11g. Oracle JDBC driver 12.1.0.1.0.

Can anyone helps?

Thanks,

Herve

Problem solved.

The problem was: BIX is using the user name name configured on the DB data source as schema name.

Thus i had to update the data source configuration (JBoss) to connect using the data schema (OWNPEGDATA).

Hello,

Is it only with Extract Rules created on previous version? Can try Revalidate&Save maybe? How about if you try with a brand new Extract Rule?

Hi,

i faced the same issues with a brand new extract rule with a new table. The Revalidate&Save did not help as well.

But i found that it is working when the enter the table name with the schema in the extract rule (see attached screenshot OWNPEGDATA.SRF_SOMO_BI).

Has somethings changed in this regard in Pega 8?

I cannot enter schema name everywhere. It is throwing a validation that table name should be less than 30 characters.
