Question

Impact on application performance due to AES agents

The application is on Pega v74 being monitored using AES 7.3. we are experiencing slowness in the application when the PegaAESRemote agents are running. Is this expected?

Hi Meera,

AES is just a monitoring tool.Monitored node will send messages to AES node through SOAP call.It doesn't impact application performance.

Still as per my experience with different AES SRs ,please let me know

1.Are you using ssl enabled url to connect to AES?If yes then check ssl logs.Is there any issue with certificate.

2.Execute below query and share result with me.

select Expired."Table", Expired."Over Expire Date Count","Total Table"."Total Count" from (select 'Alerts' as "Table",count(*) as "Over Expire Date Count"

If it doesn't run then Replace AESDATA with your schema name.
