Question

How to suppress error popup on UI

In case of user interface errors/notifications normally popup window is opened with title activitystatuserror or workobject is already open etc. Can we disable these error display in popup and modal windows as application users do not want them?

I am using prpc 7.2 version.

Please suggest.

Thanks for your time!

I did a private checkout of pzCheckForFinalConflict activity and it worked

Hello,

Can you add a screen shot to illustrate this issue?

Hi Ram,

You can try the below local change:

The pop-up is generated from the areInputsValid API of pega_ui_doc.js.

As its a final rule, it must be overridden in the UserWorkForm HTML Fragment by removing the alert , that is alert(form_submitCantProceed).

Or you can try the below script in the userworkform:

<script>
window.customClientErrorHandler = function (){
return true;
}
</script>

Vikash

Hi Vikash,

I tried below script but doesn't seems like working. I can still see the pop-up if mandatory fields are not selected. Is there any alternate?

I hope we need not to restart the server after making changes to userworkform.

<script>
window.customClientErrorHandler = function (){
return true;
}
</script>

Thanks,

Aman
