Question

How to get a twitter account name based on customer email

The application that I created has a function to search Twitter accounts based on the available email. This is so that pega can be integrated with PEGA contact accounts. In this case I've tried to use the default API available on Twitter but still haven't found the right solution. The use of e-mail is intended to ensure that the account being integrated is correct and the intended account.

Hi CharlieC3396,

Can you clarify why you believe this to be a question about PRPC per say - or a more general question about what is available in the Twitter API?

If this is about using the Twitter API itself - then perhaps the following 3rd party link may help?

Thanks,

John

Hi thanks for supporting us, acctualy our company wants to complete the following customer data with social media

Is the function provided by Twitter to be able to find a Twitter account using an email address?
If not, is there another way? we have difficulty when searching using an account name, because it can be more than one and not right on purpose

Thank you

Hi CharlieC3396,

I would start by checking Twitter's API itself - perhaps use an example they give on their site first. (https://developer.twitter.com/) - if you are able to produce a standalone example like this - then come back to the Pega Support Community regarding how you achieve the same with the Pega Platform.

Maybe somebody else on this forum already knows a way - but I have never tried it I'm afraid!

Thanks,

John
