Question

How do I change the Data-Portal header from displaying "pyCaseWorker"?

Hello,

I am currently trying to modify the portal view to display the name of the access group / operator ID associated with whoever is logged in. I was able to configure it for 2 of the other access groups but I am struggling with changing this access group from pyCaseWorker, to Campaign Manager.

My end goal is to display "Campaign Manager" where it currently says "pyCaseWorker". I have included a screenshot to help visualize my dilemma. Any insight, help and advice would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks.

Can you use Live UI to check the section being used? In my 8.2.2 environment, the pyCWPortalHeader section from UI-Kit-7:13-01-01 is used and displays my application name (Application.pyLabel).

Yes! that is my section being used in mine as well. I've placed in a property "AccessGroup.pyPortal" so that depending on the user associated logging in, it shows their access group. With my other access groups, it is working correctly, but for the current one displayed, it just reads "pyCaseWorker" instead of saying "Campaign Manager".

I am using Pega. 8.3.0

Then you're on the right track ;)

I would first sanity check if the clipboard value for this property is returning what you expect or not. If it is returning what you expect and it is somehow still displaying the wrong value at runtime, then that is a UI issue and we can attack it from that perspective.

But if the property value is not reflecting what you expect at the clipboard level, you'll want to debug why and start looking for when and where this property is being stamped differently for your affected access groups.

AccessGroup.pyPortal contains the name of a portal, not the name of access group.

Accessgroup name is in AccessGroup.pyAccessGroup property.
