File Listener Missing Batch Trailer

File comprises a single header, one or more detail instances and a single trailer

If the trailer is missing at End of File - the Success Criteria WHEN rule cannot detect this condition

The epilogue activity that runs can detect that the last record processed was not a trailer and issue a DB rollback

However it would be preferable to pass the exception condition back to the listener to deal with it as configured on the error handling page so that computer operations can monitor the situation

So how can the epilogue activity communicate back to the listener the failure condition

No response received so far

I reiterate that there is a need to communicate a failure back to the listener when the file is badly formed - i.e. missing trailer

This will require some investigation and issue reproduction. Can you please submit an SR with necessary artifacts that will allow GCS to assist further?
