Question

Exporting data into Multiple excel Sheets

Hi All,

Is there any OOTB feature which helps me in exporting data into multiple sheets.

MSOGenerateExcelFile will generate whole set of data into a single sheet. But i want certain data to be in sheet 2 some in sheet 1.

Is this possible. Kindly let me know your thoughts on this.

Figured out a way. In your binary file give  two different page name and handle it like wise in your activity.

Hello Sarath,

Could you please eloborate your requirement. I mean how you are segregating the data and exporting it as excels. Is that you are not able to generate those specific data in another step page and run the OOTB activity in the context of the latter page.

Best regards,

Rajasekar.

Hi Rajasekar,

Lets say i have a page list which have some details like name, Mobile, Email and Policy details.

In one sheet i want CustID (Unique Key) , Name, Mobile, Email

And in Another sheet CustID, Policy Details, Requested date .

So a single excel file with two separate sheets has to be downloaded.

In MSOGenerateExcel - Will put all those details in a single sheet and downloads it.

In binary file add the second sheet and give the template details i.e clipboard pagelist eg.{.pageList().property input}.

In the activity may sure that we have the properties in the pagelist.

To download pagelist content in single excel sheet  please find the link below.
