Esc event is not working for all the time

When the confirmation message is alone in the popup ,esc is not working

popup is closing when the focus is only on some editable fields,when we click outside and click on esc its not closing

Though if you click outside, the focus will be on the popup until it is closed and on click of Esc popup should be closed, May I know the Pega version?

I have checked the behavior at my end. This is the expected behavior.
Esc will work on popup when the focus is on popup controls, If you click outside the popup will lost focus and Esc will not work.

its expected behaviou but user may be or  not knows the scenario, I think better to resolve this issue
