Doubt on pxChangeStage activity

Due to some exception, my CASE is in FlowProblems flow, then with other actions - Change stage,

I am trying to change to other stage, which will also clean up processes if is see the post flow action of that flowaction.

Now, the issue is it is changing stage properly but it is not is not deleting the problem assignment, is it expected?

I am thinking this problem flow is not part of case flow so pxChangestage will not clear the problem assignment.

Hello Gouri,

I have not tested this myself, so I'm not 100% certain. That being said, I would be surprised if change stage removed a problem flow assignment. Without knowing what the problem was, it would seem to me to be a bad idea to remove an assignment that exists to have someone review an issue and take corrective action. Potentially, when you review it, you may feel that no action is required because the change stage got you where you need to be, in which case you can close things out from within the problem flow.

OOTB FlowProblems flow rule is always initiated  as a parallel flow. Stage change can clean up your Business process related pending assignments, but can't close any of the parallel flow, including FlowProblems.

So if i understand both of you, it is expected behaviour to not close problem flow even when you use pxChangeStage with cleanupprocess selected.

Then i have to have additional logic to close the problem assignment.

Thank you both of you.
