Creation of Case by clicing a button

Hi Team

I have a requirment we a button on click of which a case will be created. The case type is already existing. But on click of that button the whole of case type will be traversed with some specific value from the screens of the case type. Please let me know how to do it

Maybe you could implement new tickets on your move across your Case Type? On click of the button you create the case and set the first ticket and so on.

Thanks for your response I am actually thinking in a specific way where in the action tab of the button on click I shall be calling an OOTB activity to create the case and place the respective parameter value. Can dat be done. Please suggest

You can leverage the Pega provided Cases Rest API to create the cases of the required case-type.

Hi I guess even that will not elp I need some kind of OOTB activity which can start a particular xase type and where some values can be passed for the flow

You can write an activity that calls the createWorkPage activity to set up the data, then AddWork to create the work object, and commitwitherrorhandling to commit the work object.

You can also use RULE-OBJ-ACTIVITY WORK- svcAddWorkObject.
You can call an activity `svcAddWorkObject` of `Work-` class.
Step to use this activity:-
1. Create a page(EX. WorkPage) of your Work class and set values of all required properties.
2. Call svcAddWorkObject using WorkPage as step page.
3. Give the starting flow name of your case in FlowType parameter of `svcAddWorkObject`  activity.
