Question

can we refer custom html code as busy indicator in pega

In the below cod if we refer a gif it works, but can we use custom HTML section or html fragment or text file as a reference for busy indicator.

<script>
/*New busy Loader*/

pega.ui.busyIndicator.prototype.createIndicatorImage = function() {
if(this.oSpan == null)
this.initialize(this._sNode);
var oSpan = this.oSpan;
if (this._message && this._message.length > 0) oSpan.innerHTML = "<img src = 'webwb/Newbusyindicator.gif' alt='loading...' />" + " " + this._message ;
else oSpan.innerHTML = "<img src = 'webwb/Newbusyindicator.gif' alt='loading...' />";
}
</script>

Hi

Could you please help us understand why you want to use custom html instead of .gif file for busy indicator?

Hi mahab,

The busy indicator is something custom built using html

There is no OOTB way to customize busy indicator with desired html.

And we cannot refer HTML fragment or a text file.

The only way to change the busy indicator content is to override the createIndicatorImage function in userworkform or any other html fragment and replace the innerHTML with desired markup. I guess you already did this.
