Question

Attachments in S3 repository

Customer is using Pega cloud, so attachments are stored in S3 repository.

Customer is asking to be able to build an email containing 2 links, one to the work object - which they can do, and another to an embedded attachment.

Is this possible using S3, and if so how?

In fact, pegacloud has preconfigured to use S3 for attachments, etc: https://community.pega.com/knowledgebase/articles/pega-cloud/pega-cloud-services-file-storage.

I do not see any infrastructure limitation at all. Your question might be application specific.

Thanks Kevin,

Your link included the answer that I was looking for.

"Pega Cloud Services does not support direct access to files in a Pega Cloud File Storage repository, including using a file connector to point your Pega application to your repository."

Not possible to put a URL to the file into an email.
