Work Basket Access

Hi,

I have 2 users user1 and user2, both belong to same access group. I have created one Access Role to access WorkBasket and this access role is defined on the Access Group and WorkBasket.

My Question is, I want to restrict User2 from accessing workbasket. how can I achieve this without changing the Access Group?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Moiz

There's 2 basic ways to do this:
1. Bite the bullet and carve out a new access group.
2. Override the Rule-Access-When Assign-WorkBasket.canPerform (as previously suggested by Pega)

I think it's because Access Groups are so opaque -- since they end up aggregating a number of roles -- that some architects might opt for #2. Of course, that's even more opaque. :-)

I think on a past job we ended up creating a new security framework for connecting roles to users, so we ended up updating canPerform to use that framework.

I have added workbasket entry in Operator's Work > Workbasket list.

Here I can see work objects of that workbasket in portal, but I could not able to Open it.

For Other workbaskets' work object I am able to open.

Could you please elaborate where to see such settings for specific workbasket access ?
