What to give in source location in file listener, to read file from local machine.

Hi,

I have a requirement to read a file from local machine. I have created a file listner and gave the path as "C:\", this way it looks into the C drive of the server machine where our pega instance is installed. But I want to read file from my local machine.

Please let me know how to do this or what to give in source location in file listner.

Regards

Vatan Kumar

The source location is a local or network file location that is visibile to the server where the Pega 7 Platform is installed. Options for accessing files on another machine (e.g. your laptop) include creating a network share visible to the Pega server or providing FTP access to the files.

Use FTP to upload a file from your local machine to the source directory on the machine where the Pega server is running.
