Resaving Records for Index

I have created an index table and classes so I can report on data stored in a complex property. The articles I have read state how to resave the records by going into database utilities application and then selecting "Resave PegaRules Process Commander Application Instances" under the utilities slice. But I don't see "Resave ..." option.

You can run the activity Code-.ReCreateIndexesForClass and see if it works or not

I had the same issue and the ReCreateIndexesForClass works, but when I attempt this in Production there are too many objects for the clipboard and it crashes. Does anyone have an example of how I can do this in chunks to avoid the memory crash? I do not know much about altering the Java portion of this activity.

What is the PRPC version you are running on?

Can you please try the below URL by passing the system name / ipaddress and port number?

I am using version 5.5. The link that you gave me did work. Thank you.

The resave is not working or I am not doing something right (which is probably the truer statement). I have a complex property that I needed to expose for reporting. I created an index table and declarative indexes with accordance to the article below. When I go to resave to I put in the class of the original table and the class for the index table. Is this correct?

I would suggest you to include the class name of the complex property that you are trying to expose for reporting in the "Include classes" box and click on the resave button.

Nope that didn't work either.

HI All,,

I have created a 5 new properties under index class. But is there is any way to fetch the old work objects values from BLOB and store in the new index columns.

Please share your ideas if there is any way.
