Pressing enter key is opening an extra window.

As per my requirement, I need to perform an operation when I press "ENTER" key from the keyboard and display the results in the pop-up. I am capturing the event by checking for eventCode = 13 and using launchDialogSection. However, when I press ENTER, along with the desired pop-up, I am getting one extra blank window. Any suggestions on how to avoid this?

Please let me know if anyone got any ideas.

Try giving return false; at the end of your javascript function and see if it works...

I need to implement enter key functionality in my application. Currently after giving the search criteria in a section and pressing the submit button the results are displaying in repeating grid below of the same section.

Now I need to do the same thing using the enter key also now.

I also have a requirement to map the "Esc" key to "Clear" (refresh) functionality and the "Enter" key to operate as the "Next" button. This goes along with the business desire to not need to switch between the mouse and the keyboard.

eventCode for 'Esc' key is 27. So, you can try by including a hidden section within the parent section. In the new section, you can write javascript code which captures the key press from keyboard and refresh the section. You can use pega.u.d.reloadSection() to implement this.
